Friday

It's Friday again.  Time to have many beers and relax.

Is there anybody... out there?.

Yeah, old CR has been on holiday.  Drinking beers and getting crazy.  He'll return soon to spewing irrelevant rants.

And now for something completely different...

It is the weekend.  Tomorrow is Saturday. (Caturday for those in the know)  I will probably go on a motorcycle ride in the morning (nice and cool in the morning) on my Yamaha VStar 1100 Silverado Classic... Also known as The Land Speeder.  Riding a speeder is really a lot of fun.  Do I pretend I'm Luke Skywalker?  No, and Sand People don't shoot at me.  It's not the speed however, but the acceleration and the cornering that make it fun.  That and just being out in the open.  Mayhap I'll head out to The Lone Cabbage and have some gator tail.  Bikers in Florida are many and with the exception of one or two that I've met, they are a very cool bunch.  A good and safe weekend to all and to all... these are not the droids you're looking for.  That's The Land Speeder and The Escape Pod.  No, I'm not a Star Wars geek.  Whatever gave you that idea?

Robotics

Speaking of robotics... DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Project Agency) is funding something pretty dang amazing.  DARPA is pretty much responsible for the intertoobs that we so rely on today.  Check out this!  Whoa!!1!  Can you say freaky?!  We do live in interesting times.
